ABOUT:

Consciousness connects us all. This shared connection includes Mother Nature, electronics, mechanical devices, digital technology, quantum space, dark matter — and the Ether itself.

Can this connection be measured? The Random Number Generator increases the odds of entropy exponentially, and yet syncing still occurs — at noted and specific times.

By networking BINDU RNG nodes across the globe, we may be able to create a network of harmonic resonance that can be measured — and perhaps even serve as a kind of alarm.

Syncing

When the app is open and active, each BINDU user generates a unique stream of random numbers across the network. When those streams begin to align — drifting away from pure chance together — the app registers a sync. A strong sync may reflect a moment of shared attention or collective coherence among users. What it ultimately means is the open question BINDU was built to explore.

The Research

The modern thread runs from J.B. Rhine's experiments at Duke University in the 1940s, to Princeton University's PEAR laboratory (1979–2007), which studied whether human intention could affect electronic random event generators. In 1998, PEAR's research coordinator Roger Nelson launched the Global Consciousness Project — a worldwide network of random number generators watching for moments when chance itself appears to bend during events that draw the simultaneous attention of millions.

That project is hosted today by the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), founded in 1973 by Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell. It remains an open frontier — and that openness is part of what makes it worth exploring.

Dean Radin, Chief Scientist at IONS, has published peer-reviewed research in Foundations of Physics demonstrating consistent non-chance effects in RNG systems under directed consciousness conditions — across a meta-analysis of more than 800 experiments. His group meditation studies recorded some of the most statistically significant RNG deviations ever observed, suggesting that focused collective attention may produce measurable, reproducible effects on random systems.

Physicist John Archibald Wheeler — who coined the term "black hole" and collaborated with both Einstein and Bohr — proposed that the universe is fundamentally participatory. His principle "It from Bit" holds that physical reality derives from information, and that conscious observation does not merely witness events — it completes them. If Wheeler is correct, BINDU users may not simply be measuring the field. They may be participating in determining its output.

Our Origin

The BINDU team reached out to IONS with an interest in continuing the research into random number generation syncing, and how it relates directly to our consciousness. The Institute wished us luck in our pursuit.

We present BINDU: The Collective Conscious Calculator.

Instructions
What Each Setting Does
  • Always On — Keeps the screen awake while the app is open so sync mapping runs without interruption. Turn off to let your phone lock normally.
  • Sync Alerts — Turns alerts on or off. When on, the app flashes an alert whenever field sync rises above your set threshold.
  • Alert Threshold — Sets how strong the sync must be to trigger an alert. Lower (toward 5%) is more sensitive — more alerts; higher (toward 99%) is more selective — fewer alerts.
  • Vibrate on Sync Alert — When on, the phone vibrates each time a sync alert triggers.
  • Global Map — Shows live node positions of BINDU users worldwide. When a sync alert triggers, the user markers flash red — so the markers themselves act as a live sync alert.
  • Show My Node on Map — Shows or hides your location dot on the global map.
  • Reset Saved City — Clears your saved location so the app can re-detect your city.
  • Alert Test — The ⚡ button runs a simulated alert so you can preview what a real sync alert looks and feels like.
  • Intentions — Adds a written intention to your session. Tap Intentions and type your intention using the keyboard.
  • Share Live Field Monitor — Lets you share and review your own session data — Node, Log, Field, and RNG Sync data.
  • Contact Us — Opens an email to the BINDU team.
